Short version: your videos never leave your computer. Usage statistics are only shared if you switch them on.

What stays on your computer

All analysis (speech transcription, music and scene analysis, face and text detection) and all rendering run locally. Your videos, transcripts, projects, brand kits and exported Shorts are stored only in the app's data folder on your computer:

• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Shorts Master/data
• Windows: %APPDATA%\Shorts Master\data
• Linux: ~/.config/Shorts Master/data

Deleting a project in the app deletes its working files. Uninstalling the app keeps this folder so you don't lose work; delete it yourself to remove everything.

Network connections the app makes

• Update check (about once a day): the app downloads a small file from https://shortsmaster.aimastersindia.com to see whether a newer version exists. The request includes only the app version. Like any web request it reveals your IP address to our web host.
• Speech model download (only if you choose a Whisper model that is not bundled): the model is downloaded from Hugging Face.
• Links you click (website, pricing, support) open in your web browser.
• Usage statistics, only if you opt in (see below).

• Account sign-in (optional, only if you click Sign in): the app opens our website in your browser. After you sign in with Google or Apple and confirm, the app receives a sign-in token and checks your account's licences from time to time.

Paid plans are checked with our server while the app is signed in and online (about every 2 minutes, and at least once every 30 days); this sends only your sign-in token and app version. An offline licence from support is checked on your computer and sends nothing.

Usage statistics (opt-in, off by default)

If you turn on "Share anonymous usage statistics" (first launch or Settings), the app sends:

• a random install ID (not linked to your name or email)
• the app version, edition and operating system
• product events with coarse numbers, for example "analysis completed in 52 s", "render failed: MediaError", "clip count: 8", or which screen was opened.

It never sends file names, folder paths, video titles, transcripts, captions, images, audio or video. We use these statistics to find bugs and improve features, and we do not sell them. You can switch them off at any time; queued events are then discarded. Events are also counted locally so you can see your own statistics in Settings.

Your account

When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name, email address and a provider account ID. With Apple you may choose a private relay email. We do not receive your password. We store your account, sign-in sessions (web and app), your orders and licence keys, and a log of the installers you download (file, version and time), and use them only to provide and support your licences. Ask us at support@aimastersindia.com to delete your account.

Purchases

Razorpay processes your payment details (card, UPI, bank). We never see full card numbers. We receive the order and payment IDs, amount and status, and keep them with your licence for accounting, tax and support.

If you email us, we use your message and any diagnostics you choose to include only to help you.

Children

The Software is not directed at children under 13.
