Third-party notices
Shorts Master 1.0.0 is built on open-source software. We thank its authors. Each component is used under its own licence; where a licence requires it, the full text is distributed with the component in the app bundle.
Video processing (LGPL)
- FFmpeg (ffmpeg/ffprobe executables, LGPL v2.1 or later / v3). Built without GPL or non-free parts. Source code: https://ffmpeg.org/download.html. The exact build configuration is in the Shorts Master build scripts and available on request from support@aimastersindia.com. The executables are separate files and may be replaced with your own LGPL build.
- FriBidi (LGPL v2.1): bidirectional text, used for complex-script captions. Shipped as a separate shared library.
- dav1d (BSD-2-Clause, macOS build): AV1 decoding.
- OpenH264 (BSD-2-Clause, © Cisco): software H.264 encoding fallback.
- PyAV and opencv-python include their own FFmpeg libraries under the LGPL.
